Description  more details

Beautiful condition. This waffle iron was made  in the 1930's and has a very sensitive and accurate thermostat. Burnt orange and black highlights and a built in tray to catch overflows. The bottom plate also has a extra wide lip to keep the batter where it belongs. A very pretty and well made iron. Very hard to find one in this condition with the paint still good and the handles all intact. This particular model is fairly rare.  Chrome with black trim and Bakelite handles make it stunning. No coating on the plates, pure cast aluminum. It makes a beautiful waffle about 1/4 inch deep and 6 1/2 inches diameter.

Controls from 330 to 580 degrees F. You can make them really light or really dark!!! The heaters are held completely with ceramic.

There is a frosted glass "peep hole" light telling you when the heaters are on. They are slow to heat but hold the heat so well it cooks very, very nice. You can make waffles all day.

Completely clean, rewired and reset; ready to make waffles or make a very nice gift.

NOTE: Shipping is USPS flat rate box and ships only to the USA. If outside USA, contact me for adjustment of boxing and shipping rate.
