This iron is so well made it was made by Dominion for Sears. (Sears did not make their own irons). Heavy duty components, all screws, no rivets, heavy hinge and fantastic thermostat.

It makes 4  4 1/2 x 4 1/2 waffles at one time. Flip the plates and you have two 10 x 10 griddles. Both are brown teflon coated in pristine condition. The thermostat controls light to dark. 275 to 525 degrees with anything in between.

Small crystal shows when the heaters are on and the control knob is large and easy to use right up front. The Kenmore logo is on the top and that's all the decoration. This baby was made to feed a crowd and no fanciness!!! Just good heaters and well made plates. My guess from construction is it was made  circa 1950 to 1960 although it is listed as 1940s in "Antique Waffle Irons" they did not have teflon coating at that time.

Plates (Irons): Coated Plates
Thermostats: With Thermostat
Cord: Separate cord
