Description  more details

Rare find, Pre-seasoned waffle maker from Manning Bowman. This particular one was made in 1950. The model series was late 40's to early 50's. This model "A" meant it had a redesigned hinge and was treated with "Glazon" which is their term for pre-seasoned. They said you did not have to use oil, but that is not really true you must use oil but you will have much less trouble with sticky waffles. It has a pretty scroll design but is very heavy duty. It is equipped with a thermostat with a "OFF" to "Dark" range. It heats nicely and evenly. It is extremely well made and very heavy duty. It will last a lifetime if taken care of properly. I have re-wired it, cleaned it up and tested it. I managed to keep the seasoning on the plates. These plates are 3/8" deep, a little thicker than normal waffles but not a "Belgian" style.

6 foot original style cloth cord, all tested and in excellent shape. Complete care and use instructions.

Plates (Irons): Uncoated Plates
Thermostats: With Thermostat
Cord: Separate cord
Cord Style/Type: 6 foot
