If you have an old appliance that just doesn't work anymore or needs a refurbishing; we fix and restore almost anything.
The service will thoroughly clean, re-wire as needed, and re-set to factory specifications. Each type and model will be different so send a picture with model number, manufacturer and a description of what isn't working. We can give you a reasonable estimate or tell whether it can be salvaged. We do not re-chrome, so any rust spots will stay but they will be minimized. Cost of re-furbish is almost all labor with parts added at cost. Check out an example: Repair Restoration
Dos and DON'Ts:
1.Never think that because it works that it is safe. Old wires with cotton and asbestos insulation corrode badly, especially with grease and movement. Fires, shocks and shorts can occur anytime.
2. I will need a picture, model number and some information about background of the unit to tell you anything about repair.
3. Many units cannot be repaired due to original construction. If this is the case I will tell you and render it safe but unworkable so no one can be hurt. No charge.
4. Damage in shipping is always a problem especially old plastics that stick out from the appliance. Many waffle irons have ceramic insulators for the heaters that also break easily. Wrap the units very, very well. at least 1 inch well padded space around all items. Fill every gap. Mark it fragile. (They won't throw it as hard). I cannot fix broken plastic very well and ceramic is impossible. Pack it well.
