This pot is actually pretty amazing in that GE, Bridgeport Conn. made this as a "secondary" type of product line considered less quality than other lines they made yet this pot is so well put together it easily compares to other GE pots of the era. They chromed the aluminum outside and anodized the inside. They also used a better grade aluminum than normal. The wiring and engineering are exceptional. It makes great coffee and is fully adjustable from 188 to 205 degrees F. Marked for water levels and grounds. They used a black plastic lid and attached a clear perk top so you could see when it was done (no light to save money).
Chrome has some scratches and internals are slightly marked due to prior owners mis use but it does not bother its working and still looks pretty nice
