Made in 1938 and 1939 this is the only automatic percolator made by S. W. Farber (Farberware) prior to WWII.

Chromed copper body and lid, wooden handle and feet, a heavy duty ceramic enclosed thermostat along with a dome top glass perk lid make this an iconic and extremely well built pot. They used a heater system that is enclosed and no wires, all copper band connections. The pour spout is also heavy duty and designed to pour from the middle. Everything is open and easy to clean. This thing will out live you!

It has a gorgeous etched design around the top and they added some shaping to the body to make it really cool.

It will make 4 to 10 cups. You will have to measure it yourself, they didn't put water marks. The basket, diffuser and stem are aluminum, polished and ready. It was a pleasure working on this pot it was so well put together.

Takes a while to get going, its only 550 watts, but it perks really nice. They did not use a warmer so it will cool as it sits and will "come on" again when it gets too cold. You can pull the grounds out and it will keep it hot without re-perking.

I am using the original style cord which is in excellent condition, I checked it. Unusual for the cord to be so good and I think it may have been younger than the pot but it fits the era perfectly.
