Description  more details

1920's and Westinghouse was way ahead of the times with this really lovely "Low Boy" style waffle iron which they made in their brand new plant in Mansfield, Ohio. Special heaters developed for this iron allows it to be low and sleek. Just as appropriate today as back then.

They did not skimp on the internals either, very well made, easy to use. Plates heat nicely and hold heat perfect as long as you keep cooking (which is a must with non-regulated irons). Brown accent handles from phenolic plastic ("bakelite") protect you from burns and the extra long top handle is very nice, keeping your fingers away from the heat.

Makes a 7 inch waffle, 1/4 inch top/bottom. Nice well for drips and a small window with an indicator for temperature.  No thermostat (which it does not need).

Standard 1/2 inch C-C cord set (I include a new one).

Very, very nice iron which looks good and bakes perfect.

Plates (Irons): Uncoated Plates
Thermostats: No Thermostat
Cord: Separate cord
