Completely restored. This waffle iron was made in the the 40s by Dominion Electric in Mansfield Ohio. It was manufactured until 1942 then the war got in the way and was not made again until 1946. It was popular and sold into the 1950's. This unit does not have a thermostat but does have a thermometer. The thermometer is not real accurate but I will give the timing for temperatures. It holds heat well and will not burn anything unless you let it sit without cooking for a very long time. Comes with period style cloth 6 foot cordset I have tested and is good.
Completely re-built, re-wired and new connectors. it will need seasoned but I will tell you how. Complete instructions included.
Makes 7" round waffles with triangular grid. 115 VAC, 660 watts. Heaters are spring wound. Feet and handles are Maple wood. Made in Mansfield, Ohio By Dominion Electric Company. Cord set is 6 feet long.

If something goes wrong, I will fix it so its like a lifetime (mine LOL) warranty.
Is it safe?
It will be as safe or safer than the original manufacturer when it was made. Many times it is safer since I remove and replace asbestos wiring and unsafe cords. Note: There are some items I no longer refurbish because they cannot be made safe. I check every item for stray voltage and many times it is too high so that unit is scrapped.
What does Restored and Rebuilt Mean?
It means its been re-wired with modern high heat resistant wire, thermostats re-set, gunk, grease, stains have been removed. Restored to original factory specifications. Cords and wiring safe. All components checked for safety. Everything back to very good to mint condition nothing less.

This is an absolutely wonderful waffle maker! Reminds me of one we had when I was a child. It has been beautifully restored, heats up well and cooks the waffles to perfection! It is easy to prepare the waffle iron for use and I must say that the waffles baked in one of these is so much better than using a 'modern' iron. These do not have the nonstick coating so there is no chemical taste...just wonderful waffles! Thank you so much for the hard and time-consuming work you put into this!!
